A Final Plea to French, British and US Governments before a Revolution

The Exiled Armenian Writers has been running advertisements in over 60 countries on the various aspects of a conspiracy between the governments or embassies of France, Great Britain, and the United States on one hand, and the criminal junta that has usurped power in Armenia on the other. Despite numerous public appeals by the exiled writers, these governments have kept a criminal silence on the issue of existence of exiled writers from Armenia for over 10 years. In fact, they find the junta conducive to promote their own cultural and political agendas in Armenia.

The Exiled Armenian Writers makes a final plea to the international community:
1) To unequivocally denounce Armenia’s junta and its persecution and exile of writers.
2) To force the government of Armenia to remove all hurdles before them, guarantee their safe return to Armenia and participation in the cultural and political life of the country.

As of today, over 10 million people have seen our ads, including thousands associated with human rights organizations. We will run these advertisements until they reach at least 100 million people around the globe, if not a billion.

Failure to respond to this final plea within the next 30 days and the continuation of the cynical attitude toward the inalienable human rights of Armenian writers for free speech and full participation in all aspects of the political and cultural life of their country will prompt the Exiled Armenian Writers to incite a revolution in Armenia that will have unpredictable consequences and may cause a conflagration of the entire region.
